Introduction

• Here is a list of study requirements that you have to fulfill in order to get your Master's degree.
• It is based on the official Examination Regulations for the courses of study § 22 or the German one: § 23
• No guarantee, better ask your counsellor

Course Requirements

1. >= 27 credits of core lectures = 3x9
2. >= 27 for advanced or specialized (in-depth) lectures or seminars (at least 18 graded)
3. at least 7 credits for seminars = 1x8 usually (not part of the above)
4. 12 credits for the Master's seminar (mandatory for all IMPRS students)
5. >= 17 credits must be acquired by:
   1. language courses (max. 6 credits) e.g. English or French, not Lisp and Java
   2. Freely chosen courses, which have been applied for and approved by examination board
   3. Teaching Assistant (4 credits)
